DEEP.REDUX is an audio-visual project reflecting on AI progress, merging visualization techniques, data representation exploration, and questioning human-AI relationships. The work critically examines machine learning advancements, incorporating diverse aesthetic methods like data visualization, simulation, and animation. It delves into the evolving representation of data and learning, showcasing insights into latent space relationships. The visual journey spans early analytical ML to contemporary models like ChatGPT and Stable Diffusion. DEEP.REDUX investigates the human-AI relationship, challenging notions of familiarity and repetition within these models. It was one of the three winners of Genius Loci ‘23.
