Amidst the ongoing digitization, circuit boards have become intricately intertwined with our daily digital experiences. Consequently, we not only encounter sparse raw materials but also electronic waste. Despite living in an era of dematerialization, where material access is increasingly virtual and ambiguous, KONTAKT juxtaposes the inner workings of a computer with its ephemeral nature and disposal. Within this contrast emerges an auditory landscape composed of digital sounds from the computer and mechanical sounds triggered by contact with the material. We exhibited this Installation at Kunstbiennale Ortung 13, Chaos Communication Congress and Silent Green.
